wildly successful themed outdoor art exhibits which have become the rage.
Cows mooed in Chicago and New York; Belfast, Maine celebrated with "Bearfest".
Have you heard about the buffalo in Buffalo? What about the pigs in
Cincinnati?... Now, Clarion’s added a “Beary
Good project public art project to
Ridgway's "Enchanted Woodlins"
and Punxsutawney’s certainly is
Phantastic Phil.
"Wild Bunch" whimsical outdoor public art projects are sponsored by Great
Outdoors Visitors Bureau. Each of the projects features exhibitions - all
tied to the heritage of the community – show that outdoor projects don’t
have to be "serious" to be good – they just has to be fun.
Our projects are patterned after a public art projects across the nation.
The are decorated fiberglass and wood art as public art, strategically
placed in the public landscape for our visitors and residents to enjoy.
By the summer of 2006, maps will be available on-line and by contacting us –
to guide you around – our communities – to find your favorite character. |
