Ridgway's
added their "Enchanted Woodlins" to the public art
map.
The "Enchanted Woodlins" sponsored by Great Outdoors
Visitors Bureau as part of it's "Wild
Bunch" whimsical outdoor animal
art project, features exhibitions of decorated wild animals
as public outdoor art - all tied to the heritage of the
community.
Ridgway's "Enchanted Woodlins" are chainsaw-carved
wooden animals, approximately 5 to 6 feet high, and are
permanently installed at sponsor locations throughout
Ridgway. The collection of outdoor sculptures is a museum
without walls, fees or hours- accessible to everyone,
everyday.
The "Enchanted Woodlins" chainsaw carving art is an
exciting community-oriented art exhibit created with the
vision of uniting the Great Outdoors six-county region; and
adds life and vitality to the community's landscape. The
wooden carvings celebrate the people and history of
Ridgway's lumber heritage.
