Tionesta is a charming town located on the banks of the Wild & Scenic Allegheny River. The Market Village is a must-see attraction that offers shoppers a collection of local merchants offering a variety of handmade treasures. Early summer, is Firefly season when the night is fielded with a spectacular synchronized light show in the Allegheny National Forest.  Each July, cowboys and cowgirls compete in the 3-night outdoor Allegheny Mountain Championship Rodeo.  The town’s Native American heritage is celebrated each August with the Tionesta Indian Festival.  Tionesta boasts Pennsylvania’s only  in-land functioning lighthouse, which open for tours several times per year.

Retreat to this restored Victorian bed and breakfast to relax, rejuvenate, and perhaps inspire your creative side. Gifts, antiques, local art, and art workshops. Reservations required. Open April-November.

Camping facilities located at lakeside and accessible only by boat. Open year round, weather permitting. Water and restrooms available at the boat launch. Boat launching fee April-September.

On the Allegheny River at Tionesta, 22.5-acre island, open to public use, offers a boat launch, fishing pier, one-mile walk/bike trail, and Sherman Memorial Lighthouse.

Secluded log cabin north of Tionesta, 1/4 mile from the Allegheny River. Fireplace, screened porch, full kitchen, bathroom with shower. Sleeps four to six.

Displays a number of tools used by the wood hicks (lumbermen) as well as barge builders. Includes photos from the Collins Mill in Nebraska and the Wheeler and Dusenbury Mills in Newtown and Endeavor.

Campground in the national forest offers six sites along Minister Creek. Each site contains a picnic table, fire ring, and tent pad. Vault toilets and hand pumps. Open all year. No reservations.

Seven miles of hiking trail features many giant boulders, scenic overlook. Popular with photographers. 

Site suitable for tents and trailers with flush toilets, showers, campfire rings, picnic tables, electric, water, and sewer hookups. 

Everyone goes to Pizza Joe's. Your favorite neighborhood pizza place. Featuring pizza, pasta, subs, salads, wings, appetizers. Lunch specials every day.
