On Saturday, June 17th the Trail Town Initiative Committee of the East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC) hosted a dedication and recognition celebration. The event showcased a 16’ X 24’ custom mural by Butler artist Paul Means.

The mural is a collage of four seasons of all things outdoors; bicycling, kayaking, boating, water skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing etc. and is dedicated to John and Carolyn Olszak by their family. In conjunction with the mural dedication East Brady celebrated the Allegheny River being named River of the year in Pennsylvania.  Crowds of close to 150 people were in attendance.

Among the speakers for the event were East Brady Mayor John Klein, East Brady Borough Council President Barb Mortimer, State Representative Donna Oberlander, State Senator Scott Hutchison, mural artist Paul Means and Penn Soil Executive Director Wes Ramsey. Kate Hall of EBADC was master of ceremonies. Trail Town and Mural committee chairperson Toni Henry introduced and acknowledged all involved in the project.
