Many local artisans’ works are on display at the Elk County Council on the Arts in Ridgway. The next time you’re in Elk County take a few minutes to stop by and tour their gallery. You will be impressed and might even find a unique special treasure to take home.

“A couple of years ago, my wife and I decided to spend a Friday evening in Ridgway to take in the student artwork on display throughout the town. There were many great pieces but the one that stood out to me was a 3-D elephant head made from paper. When we made our way into the ECCOTA gallery, we were very impressed with both the quality and amount of artworks on display. That evening Stacie Johnson Leske was working clay on her pottery wheel in the front window. She was happy to explain the process which we both found very interesting. We spent about an hour watching Staci work her magic. Now every time we visit Ridgway, we look forward to stopping by ECCOTA.” John Straitiff, PA Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau Executive Director.
