Forest County, Pennsylvania is home to the largest tract of the 500,000 acre Allegheny National Forest. The ANF has hundreds of miles of trails designated for ATVs, snowmobilies, hiking, biking, equestrian, and cross-country skiing.

The town of Marienville is known as the “Snowmobiling Capital of Pennsylvania”. Each May and October the town hosts Tour-De-Forest where ATVs can ride through the ANF on roads and trails not usually open to ATV traffic.
