As you travel to visit friends and family during the holiday season, please take a few minutes to appreciate the many things that make life in the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors region so unique and special.  Take a minute to notice the spectacular scenery with rugged mountains, peaceful rivers, lush forest, and abundant wildlife.  If you need a little time away from your family after all the holiday revelry to just relax and think, may we suggest taking a drive to enjoy the nature’s beautiful handiwork.   The state parks, recreation areas, and winding roads along the waterways throughout the region are a good place to find a little peace and tranquility during this busy season.
