One of my favorite things about the summer fair and festival season is that the wait is finally over and I can again get Tony’s Pizza. The new Tommy’s Italian Pizzeria and Pub in Sigel, isn’t quite Tony’s but it is pretty darn close. Owner Tommy Elder has transformed the former Martz’s Market, behind Truman’s Store, into a new restaurant for family dining where everything is homemade. He has also added a pub and six-pack shop. Tommy’s is open Thursday through Sunday 11AM-11PM. Another former Sigel iconic business has also been transformed as well. The Sigel Hotel, or as I will always refer to it as “Tilly’s”, has recently remodeled and reopened. It is good to see new businesses opening across the PA Great Outdoors Region and adding jobs to our economy.
