The popular and growing Foxburg Art, Wine, and Food Festival celebrates its 15th year on Sunday, October 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the heart of this charming Clarion County town along the scenic Allegheny River. The festival will once again feature a wide variety of artisans and crafters offering handcrafted items for sale, with approximately 75 vendors planning to attend this year.

As you explore the festival, take time to check out some of Foxburg’s unique businesses, such as Red Brick Gallery, Foxburg’s artist cooperative, where you can purchase that perfect piece or get an early start on Christmas shopping. Foxburg Pizza will have Oktoberfest pizza for diners, or you can sample a draft of Oktoberfest beer and German cuisine at the Allegheny Grille. Of course, there will be plenty of food vendors lining Main Street to satisfy your hunger, and you can treat that sweet tooth with handcrafted Belgian chocolates or gourmet coffee at Divani Chocolatier and Barista. Still thirsty? Drop into the very popular Foxburg Wine Cellars offering more than 30 varieties of wine along with accessories and gift items. Each business will have 50/50 raffle tickets available for sale during the festival, giving you plenty of options to win big.

From 12-4 p.m., enjoy live music by the excellent Richard Eustice Band. Looking for family fun? Dragonfly Balloons will be crafting beautiful balloon items to wear or as sculptures. Plus, every child loves a trip through the Red Caboose train car. To make it easy to get from place to place, consider renting a surry, tandem, or traditional bike from Foxburg Tours.

Plan now for a Foxburg weekend! This is a free event, and free shuttle service is provided from designated parking areas at Allegheny-Clarion Valley Elementary School and the Allegheny-Clarion Valley Medical Center, both located on Route 58. Handicapped parking will be provided close to the event.

If you get into town early, get a head start on the festivities on Friday, October 12, with a fabulous clam bake at Foxburg’s Allegheny Grille. Reservations are required, so please call the Grille at (724) 659-5701 to book your table.
