Arbor Day is a wonderful holiday that everyone can celebrate no matter who you are or where you come from. Arbor day is the celebration of planting trees and continuing the preservation of our forests. Come join the Elk Country Visitor Center as we hand out a free tree to each family and learn about the many trees found in PA. We will also be sStay up late and explore the butterflies of the night, Moths! Let’s learn about moth anatomy, life cycle, and fun adaptations. We will go into depth identifying around 20 PA moths and their caterpillars. Plus explain how you can go Mothing, attract and view moths, at home!
