- Ice skating is a fun winter pastime! Head to Cook Forest State Park where the scenery is breathtaking and the activities are endless! The ice skating pond can be found on River Road (approximately one mile from Route 36). Bring your own skates or stop at Cooksburg Dry Goods for skate rental.

This river meanders through narrow valleys of hardwood forests, The Clarion is popular for family canoeing as sell as for trophy brown trout and smallmouth bass fishing. Walk or bike the Allegheny River Trail in Foxburg to the bridge, where the Clarion empties into the Allegheny River.
