Wilcox Volunteer Fire Department is proud to host our 2nd Annual Firefighter Olympics!

Gather your crew and get ready for a day of teamwork, training, competition, and good old-fashioned firefighter fun!

4-Person Teams

FREE — Open to ALL Area Fire Departments! We are unable to tag all of the departments as they don’t all have a Facebook page. If you are seeing this and we didn’t tag you it wasn’t on purpose.

Events will include:

• Roof Ventilation

• Dummy Drag Through a Confined Space

• Hydrant & Engine Operations

• Rope Rescue using a 3:1 Mechanical Advantage

• Good Old-Fashioned Bucket Brigade

• Donning Gear Challenge — a standalone timed event requiring full turnout gear & SCBA

Departments are welcome to bring their own apparatus. Wilcox VFD will supply the other competition equipment.

Being held over Labor Day Weekend, this is a great opportunity to get your crew together, put your skills to the test, and build some brotherhood with departments from around the area!
