This Christmas season, take a walk through the ages as you stroll through Brookville’s Victorian Christmas scheduled for December 1-3, 2016. You’ll swear you’ve fallen into a Dicken’s Novel as you gaze in awe at the costumed locals and exquisite decorations. Taking part in the truly communal event is something that the locals look forward to all year long.
Indulge your senses in the sights, sounds, smells, and most importantly tastes offered by the event. You’ll be privy to tea luncheons, gingerbread house contests, wine tastings, and extravagant pancake and sausage breakfasts. The whole town opens up their kitchen doors as the Victorian Christmas comes into full swing.
Other events include tea leaf readings, nativity parades, live music, a strolling brass ensemble, vendors upon vendors, an elementary choir, book sales, a Bowdish railroad display, a wreath making class, live theater, Victorian house tours, a children’s tea party, and rumor has it that Santa himself will be making an appearance.
You’d be hard pressed to find a more magical holiday experience than Brookville’s Victorian Christmas. The event takes place during the first weekend of December, and is sure to be a hit amongst the young and old alike.
