Marienville is the gateway to the Allegheny National Forest and its hundreds of miles of trails for ATV, snowmobiles, hiking, and horseback riding. Each May and October, nearly 1,000 ATV enthusiasts come to Marienville for Tour-De-Forest, an organized leisure ride. The annual winter festival features an inspiring snowmobile torchlight parade. Nature lovers flock to Buzzard Swamp for spectacular wildlife and bird watching, including bald eagle and osprey.

An organization that is instrumental in organizing events in the village of Marienville. Open to the public.

More than 75 miles with three interconnecting loops for ATV and motorbike trails. Open Friday before Memorial Day-last Sunday in September and late December-April 1. Main trailhead parking on Route. 66, north of Marienville.

Marienville Ranger District Office, Marienville, PA – Open Tuesday thru Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed on federal holidays.

Their purpose is to stimulate interest, promote safety, and advance the general welfare of snowmobile riding.

23 mile Off Highway Motorcycle (OHM-dirt bike) and ATV Trail rated most difficult, very demanding and challenging with rocky surface winding through the forest.

Accessible via Pigeon Run Falls Trail, which is good for all skill levels, near Marienville in the Allegheny National Forest.
