Along with the rich variety of outdoor adventures, many camping opportunities are available with equestrian, RV, and backpacking campsites. Camping reservations (877) 444-6777 or Recreation.gov.

The Seneca named this area "where the water separates the land." Seven islands totaling 368 acres are designated as part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. Primitive camping permitted.

Year-round lodging in Allegheny National Forest. Late 18th-century farmhouse bed and breakfast. Cabins available April-November. Home of the PA Firefly Festival.

Secluded log cabin north of Tionesta, 1/4 mile from the Allegheny River. Fireplace, screened porch, full kitchen, bathroom with shower. Sleeps four to six.
