386 acres surrounded by nearly a half-million acres of state forests. Picnicking, hiking, camping (23 RV and tent sites), cross-country skiing, fishing, hunting, and 66 miles of snowmobile trails.
29 RV and tent sites. Most sites have electricity. Flush toilets, showers, and sanitary dump station available. Five walk-in tent sites offer a secluded streamside setting.

40-mile equestrian trail begins at the Kelly Pines Campground off Route 66 in Marienville and consists of multiple loops through the Allegheny National Forest. Open year round.
Nearly 8,500 acres in Elk State Forest. This large undeveloped area provides opportunities for primitive recreation such as hiking, hunting, fishing, and wildlife photography.
A new approach in conserving forest land, PA Bureau of Forestry partnered with the Lyme Timber Company to conserve more than 9,000-acres for public outdoor recreation.

53-mile trail through the 200,000-acre Elk State Forest with two loops for shorter rides. Trailhead is off Hicks Run Road (near Route 555).
Scenic views of Allegheny River and Tidioute. Iroquoian word meaning "protrusion of land" for the sharp bend in the river where Tidioute is located.
